furniture’s (Colonial, Periodical & Classical and Modern
Ranges). All made in many different timbers like sheesham (INDIAN
Rosewood), Acacia wood, Mango wood & OAK wood made in china.
Sheesham (Indian Rosewood): Biological word of sheesham is
Delbergia Latifolia also known as INDIAN rosewood. Sheesham trees
are grown in big forests of mid INDIA & large numbers of trees are grown
every year. Its growth period is between 18-22 years & it can reach
a height of 100 feet & have cylindrical boles of 35-50 Feet and
reach on average of 3-5 feet in diameter. It is hard, Heavy & dense
with high bending and crushing strengths, medium shock resistance.
INDIAN Rosewood is an ideal wood for fine furniture. Furniture built
in this wood gives a rustic look.
Mango Wood: Biologically termed mandifera indica L. is native
to Southern Asia. The mango trees is erect 60 to 100 feet on average
and the diameter ranges fro 3-5 feet. Characteristics of the mango
tree are described as greenish-brown in color, coarse-textured,
medium-strong, hard, durable with high resistance to water. Mango
wood is now day good substitute of sheesham and teak due it finest
quality & strength.
Acacia Wood: A flat-topped tree commonly called Babool &
Kikar. Its flowers are yellow & white. The tree is common in hot
deserts. Its use is limited by the small size of the timber, but
nevertheless very popular. Acacia wood is commonly used in Dinning
Furniture & has a rustic look.
Any irregularities and differentiation of look are part o the
natural occurrence and should not be considered as defects. Wood
breathes and moves & is totally natural.
Wood Finishes
We can offer you a various range of colors, which is due to variety
in timber & also due to some suitable color used on the furniture.
Mainly Stain & Potassium-Permanganate is used on the furniture to
give shades. PP is more used in giving furniture dark & rustic look.
Then Sealer is used mixed with N.C Thinner in a ratio of 60:40 to
give shine to grains of wood & fill the small holes in the wood.
Lacquer is then applied in ratio of 60:40 with the Thinner to give
